For many people, the feature to automatically install drivers on Windows 10 when there is a network is very useful. However, in many cases I find it not working properly.

Specifically, installing AMD Card Driver on my computer makes the screen black + drop FPS when playing games, I download it on AMD's Driver & Download homepage, which is very stable. In addition, many brothers also want to install the driver according to their own wishes, a certain driver version makes your computer more stable for example.

So how to turn off automatic driver update on Windows 10 so that we have full freedom to manually install the Driver that we have tested and used on our system to bring the stability we want. Please refer to the way below to be able to turn off automatic driver updates on Windows 10.

A few important notes:
  • When you are finished reinstalling Windows, you should set it up immediately. Usually when I finish installing Windows, I turn off the network so that it does not auto-update Driver, after re-setting, I turn on the network again and then manually install the Driver.
  • You can see the picture below for a quick time if you are lazy to read the article, I capture a simple image for you to recognize. In addition, I also wrote a very detailed step-by-step guide for those who do not know, then follow.

That's it, your computer will not automatically download the driver anymore, you should also read the note at the beginning of the article, because when Windows 10 is installed, it only needs the network to automatically download the driver.

Usually when installing Windows will unplug the network cable, after the installation is complete, I will actively turn off this feature first and then plug in the network cable, the driver card after using time I have my own set of sensors. Use the most stable for the system
