[EAE Add-ons] Cupid's Arrow - Cupid's Arrow for XenForo 2 1.1
Cupid's Arrow gives your members the chance to launch an emoji of "arrow" at other members. If the option is set, they can choose to launch anonymously afterwards. Member emojis that are allowed to be launched together are set in options for add-ons. If sent anonymously and the target member has permission to bypass user privacy, they will be able to see who launched the arrow at them. Arrows show up as warnings, so if a target member decides to turn off alerts for this add-on, they won't be notified that they've been targeted (although it's still recorded) .
Feature:
Permissions: [EAE] Can launch Cupid's arrows, global permissions set to Yes when setting up for registered groups. Since there will be no emojis selected by you at this time, any member who sees the fa launch icon and chooses it will be greeted with an empty message. Interesting.
Tables and changed tables: A table is added to your database, xf_eaecpar_cupids_arrow, and an alternate table for xf_user_privacy (eaecpar_allow_send_cupids_arrow). They are removed when uninstalled.

- The administrator decides which emoticons members can use. You may want to make them based on themes, i.e. use turkey and jack_o_lantern in the fall.
- Respect the privacy settings of the targeted member (Allow users .. Target you with Cupid's arrows). If it is set to People you follow, the launcher will be notified that members cannot be targeted at this time, unless they have permission to bypass user privacy.
- You can choose to set a "hit" success rate by using the target conversion percentage. It defaults to 95% upon installation. If set to 0, the arrow's launchers will always miss their target, while 100 will always hit.
- If the intended target misses, the new target is selected at random. If the new goal was set to Allow users ... to People you follow and they don't follow, then that would be a shortcoming. Failure like this is not recorded.
- Admin with statistics view can view the arrows launched by members in adminCP: Content -> [EAE] Cupid's arrow -> Launched arrows. This will show the emoji launched, the date, the target was hit, if it was sent anonymously, if it misses and the intended target (if it misses and another target was hit). These stats can be searched by launcher, target, intended target, and username, so it can be a useful tool to see if a member is always targeting. to other members or not by emoticons can be taken out of context for example.
- By default, arrows will be deleted after 60 days. You can change this from 1 day (not very useful for the above feature) to 365 days or keep them indefinitely (setting 0).
