MathMagic is an editor useful to almost everyone who deals with formulas - student, professor, engineer, developer and many others. With the help of the editor, you can create formulas of any complexity for a wide variety of industries, from mathematics and physics to statistics and voluminous scientific calculations. MathMagic Personal Edition is a standalone application with a user-friendly interface. It is as easy to work with as with a regular text editor, and therefore can be almost completely mastered in just a few hours.
The editor provides the user with a complete set of tools for creating complex formulas:
- Supports WYSIWYG technology - that is, formulas are displayed in the usual form, as they are written on paper
- The user is provided with a large number of auxiliary panels and windows, where you can select both individual mathematical symbols and parts ("blanks") of formulas
- The "drag-and-drop" mode of operation is supported - it allows using the mouse to quickly build complex formulas by simply dragging components and individual symbols from auxiliary panels and windows
- The editor supports a large number of keyboard shortcuts, and allows you to create your own shortcuts; and working not only with the mouse, but also with the keyboard, you can significantly speed up the input of formulas
- Multiple Undo / Redo operations are supported - if necessary, it will be possible to restore the work results even after several incorrect actions
- The editor allows you to change the font style and size - formulas can be given an attractive look, which is especially important when preparing commercial publications
- The MathMagic Personal Edition editor allows you to create your own sets of templates (ie "blank" formulas), which greatly facilitates the work if you have to type the same type of formulas
