Use moral and material rewarding techniques to keep sources cooperative during and after debriefing
Requirements
No prior experience in intelligence, investigations, or interviewing is required
Description
This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.
This course teaches the debriefing methods used in intelligence work, adapted for business, HR and security. You'll learn how to structure a conversation so people say more than they planned to, how to spot the moment someone starts making things up instead of remembering, how to rebuild a real timeline out of a disorganized, messy one, and how to tell an actual nonverbal signal from a coincidence. Most of what actually happened in a conversation never makes it into the notes. People often tell you the safe version, not the real one.
Taught by Max and O'Neill, two field instructors with over 40 years of combined experience, now applied to business situations instead of interrogation rooms.
You'll also work through real cases: reconstructing what someone left out, catching a rehearsed answer, and knowing when to reward cooperation instead of pushing harder. These aren't tricks. They're the same structured approach used in real debriefings, just adapted so you can use them at work without sounding like an interrogator.
Good for managers, HR staff, and security or compliance people who need honest answers. No prior experience needed, just the desire to learn.
Be Brave. Not Slave.
